Hallucinogens
OverviewHallucinogens are drugs that change a person’s perception of reality. Such drugs consist of LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide), Mescaline, Psilocybin, PCP (phencyclidine), Salvia and MDMA (meth, “Molly” or “ecstasy”). Hallucinogens transform people into a temporary schizophrenic-like state where a person will see and hear things that do not exist. Often times, synesthesia occurs where two or more senses cross in perception.

Peyote/Mescaline |
Mescaline has been used for centuries by Aztecs for its "mystical experiences". Peyote is a spineless cactus with small protrusions called “buttons” that are dried and used for hallucinogenic purposes. Mescaline (an amphetamine), is the active psychedelic compound in peyote and derived from several different cacti. Mescaline can also be chemically synthesized in a laboratory . Mescaline sulfate a white crystalline material, is the pure form of mescaline. It can be taken orally in the form of powder, a tablet, a capsule, or liquid

LSD, known as (lysergic) acid, is one of the most potent, mood-changing chemicals. It is made from lysergic acid, found in the ergot fungus that grows on rye and other grains. It is crystal made in illegal laboratories, mainly in the United States. These crystals are converted to a liquid to be sold. It is odorless, colorless, and has a bitter taste. LSD is sold on the street as “microdots”, capsules or “window panes”. It is sometimes added to blotter paper, which is decorated with “loony toons”. Occasionally it is sold in liquid form.
LSD leads the user to experience a serious disconnection from reality. Users call an LSD experience a “trip,” typically lasting eight to twelve hours. When things go wrong, which often happens, it is called a “bad trip” ** LOOK UP what is meant by microdots, windo panes, loony toons and a bad trip** |
