Inhalants
Inhalants, known as "poor man's pot" are chemicals that people breathe in to experience some type of high. Examples are liquids such as paint thinners and glue; aerosols such as spray paints and vegetable oil sprays; gasses such as butane lighters and nitrites such as butyl and amyl nitrites. Inhalants cause hypoxia or an inadequate oxygen supply and other serious side effects.
