Are defined as a consistent pattern of inappropriate behavior such as disregarding rules and are non-empathetic to others feelings. These individuals have unstable self-esteem and relationships. Some examples include Narcissism, Borderline Personal Disorder, Psychopath/Sociopath and Multiple Personality Disorder.

Bipolar Disorder
Bipolar disorder is a complex genetic disorder that drastically alters a person’s mood swings. The mood swings can arise gradually or suddenly within a timeframe of minutes to hours and can range from very mild to extreme. Bipolar can be treated through medications and counseling. There are two types of Bipolar, Bipolar Depression and Bipolar Mania.

Symptoms of Bipolar Depression; decreased or increase in appetite resulting in weight loss or weight gain, difficulty concentrating, remembering and making decisions, fatigue, decreased energy, feeling guilt, worthlessness, helpless, hopelessness and pessimism, insomnia, early-morning awakening or oversleeping, loss of interest or pleasure in hobbies or activities that were once enjoyed, thoughts of death or suicide or even suicide attempts. Bipolar Mania
|
Symptoms of Bipolar Mania; disconnected and racing thoughts, inappropriate irritability, inappropriate social behavior, increased sexual desire, increased talking speed and or volume, markedly increased energy, poor judgement, severe insomnia. Define Mania!

Schizophrenia
Schizophrenia is persons inability is distinguish between reality and fantasy making it one of the hardest mental illnesses to treat. These individuals tend to hear and see things that do not exist; which are known as psychosis. MRI’s display shrinkage of the brain in people who suffer with Schizophrenia. It is a familial disorder and there are 4 types of Schizophrenia; Paranoid-type, disorganized-type, undifferentiated-type and residual-type.
